The South Carolina Statistical Abstract is a publication of the South Carolina Budget and Control Board, Office of Research and Statistics. This state publication is a comprehensive reference source for demographic and economic data pertinent to South Carolina. Statistics are compiled from in-house databases as well as a variety of federal, state, local, and private sources.
It is impossible to publish the South Carolina Statistical Abstract without the assistance of numerous persons in both the public and private sectors who generously contributed much of the data contained in this web site. We thank these individuals for their continued support in revising the abstract each year.
